Happy at One Hundred
The series entitled ‘Happy at One Hundred’ by well-known German photographer Karsten Thormaehlen shows that age is just a number. Consisting of a collection of photographs of men and women over 100 years old, this project is an extraordinary celebration of life.
These portraits are very sharp and detailed, clearly showing every wrinkle (and twinkle) present in the subjects’ faces. The photographs are a nice reminder that a powerful emotion like happiness can be beautifully captured on people of any age.
